Or perhaps do you feel like the connection that once came so naturally and easily with your partner has become strained and difficult? Are you struggling to keep your head above water through a particularly trying season of life? My name is Jacob Prestidge, and I’d love to be a resource for you - someone to walk beside you and ensure that you feel encouraged, understood and valued as we move together toward healing, peace, and long-term, sustainable fulfillment.

As the son of parents who spent their entire lives in full-time ministry, I have a passion for ensuring that those carrying out the great commission are able to find the restorative care they need. And as a 46-year-old husband (of 16 years) to my amazing wife, I love helping couples shed the unhelpful patterns so many of us were raised with, and learn instead the language of connection. I received my Master’s in Clinical Psychology from Azusa Pacific University, and am certified in biblical counseling as well as Gottman Couples Therapy. I have also been trained in Emotionally Focused Couples Therapy. As a devoted follower of Christ, I seek to provide excellent clinical therapy that integrates God’s loving encouragement and hope as part of the therapeutic process.

In my free time I enjoy perusing local record stores, watching classic movies (especially film noir), and making music with my talented wife.

I am a marriage and family therapist licensed in both Kansas and California, and would be honored to walk alongside you through this season of life.
