Your Questions, Answered
-
Each of our providers accepts insurance, though the accepted plans varies by therapist. We can match you with a provider who’s in-network with your insurance.
Some of the insurances we accept include BCBS, Aetna, United Healthcare, and Luminaire/Centrus.
-
Therapy isn’t like what you see in the movies. You won’t be forced to talk about anything you don’t want to, and we definitely won’t ask you to lay back on a couch and share about your childhood.
We typically spend sessions talking about your thoughts, feelings, or behaviors, and helpful ways to change these to help improve your symptoms.
Therapy can feel uncomfortable at times, but you’ll be in control every step of the way.
-
Yes, therapy is confidential. Everything you say stays between you and your therapist.
There are a few exceptions to confidentiality, such as instances of child abuse or suicidality. Your provider will discuss confidentiality with you during your first session.
-
Our practice focuses on serving men and teen boys, but we’re open to working with women as well. Don’t hesitate to reach out if you’re interested in working with one of our providers.
-
No. Our providers are Christians, but you don’t have to share our faith to be a client here. We’ll respect your beliefs and will treat you with dignity no matter your background.
